Orgryte IS is in the focus of several European clubs. The Englishman Michael Parker has distinguished himself in the early stages of the season and there is interest from several clubs. According to transfer journalist Rudy Galetti, there is a large interest in Parker where clubs such as Sunderland, Newcastle, Brentford, FC Copenhagen and Sporting are said to be following him. Galetti states that it is planned to make an offer of around three to five million euros, or 32-54 million kronor, on Parker this summer. When FotbollDirekt asks Örgryte's sports director Pontus Farnerud about the information regarding Parker – he confirms partially. There is interest and clubs are inquiring, but nothing concrete has happened yet. Parker joined Öis before the season and has previously represented clubs such as West Brom and Shrewsbury. His contract with the Gothenburg club extends until 2028. It is interesting to see if Parker will leave Öis this summer or if he will stay and help the club avoid relegation.
